The room was clean, but I left very early after feeling unsafe once I’d paid and driven around to the side where it was. Men were talking loudly outside late at night, so I turned up the air to try to cover the noise. I chose this place because its rating was close to four stars and its price matched the three Residence Inns by Marriott I’d stayed at on this trip, but the experience was very different. I hope management can get things in better shape. The breakfast could use more choices, maybe other pastries or yogurt. I didn’t try it.

It was a quiet place most of the time, and the location seemed fine. The room was clean and the woman who checked us in was nice, but the other staff weren’t as friendly. It’s a budget hotel, and the beds weren’t comfortable. The breakfast was so disappointing that we skipped it on our second morning. I doubt we’d stay again.

The room was clean, the sheets smelled nice, and the bed was soft. The hostess who checked me in last night was great. It was quiet, and nobody bothered my vehicles. Breakfast was light, but for the room price I can’t complain.

This place is a dump and seriously overrated. The room had cigarette holes in the bedspread, no hangers or iron, a gap about half an inch wide under the door, badly worn and torn box spring covering, and a toilet seat that didn’t fit the commode. At check-in, the lobby hostess wanted me to sign the agreement electronically without showing it to me first. When I questioned that, all she said was that it was company policy. Absurd. The next night in Amarillo, I paid just $10 more for a palace with a full breakfast.

The room was clean, the price was right, and the people were friendly. They returned my $75 cash security deposit promptly. The little breakfast wasn’t much of anything.
