The roaches seemed quite at home, and the rooms felt unhealthy. I was even told to cross a busy highway on foot with my dog. I was in town for company business and paid $50 for my service dog, but the first room had no heat. The replacement smelled awful, and though they moved us again to a better room, that same smell was still there, just less strong. The woman then had her husband come over and charge another $10 for the dog. They took nearly $100 without providing a decent room. The health department needs to look into these rooms. I wouldn't give this place even one star if I could.

The WiFi worked very well, and the room was clean with a decent amount of space. It was also very quiet since the motel sits well back from the road. The rate was good, and I’d stay here again when I’m in the area. I’ve saved it on my GPS.

The only reason I gave this place two stars is its location across from Walmart, Dollar Tree, Papa Johns, and other shops. The motel is right beside the road, so it was loud, and there are no weekly rates. The carpets were filthy, the WiFi didn't work, and the bathroom was old enough that we had to use a plunger for the toilet. There wasn't a coffee pot in the room either, so you had to walk to the main office for coffee. Managers and staff came into the room without knocking. I hated staying here.

Scam warning! They took my card details, then charged me even after I found a cheaper hotel. They said they'd tried calling several times, but when I confronted them, they didn't even have the right phone number for me in their system from the start. Don't rent a room here.

We were in town for shutdown work at the papermill in Perdue Hill, AL, and Monroeville, AL was the only place we could find with a room available. It felt like a one-star motel, but the price was more like a three- or four-star hotel. The rooms weren't very clean. Walmart, dollar tree, and sonic are close by.
