The room was nice and the place was clean, but it got very warm inside. The AC was set to 69, and it still felt hot even with the fan turned off. Although we were in a non-smoking room, cigarette smoke came under the door, so we had to block it with a towel. There's no ramp to the lobby, only a side entrance that requires your room key.

The rooms were just okay, with dusty portraits above the headboard and bed pillows leaning against them. The shower curtain had holes and stains. Since it's family owned, perhaps they should still keep children away from the desk, and not have them cover a break during checkout. The child looked under 10, which raised questions for me about professionalism, decorum, and legality. It's a decent place to crash after filling up at Lambert’s, and they have rooms for smokers visiting the dispensary.

I drove from North Dakota toward Georgia over four days, then made the trip from Georgia to this little Missouri town in one day. I had booked online and just wanted to rest. When I walked up, the employee immediately said there were no rooms, before I had even said who I was or what I needed. Then he claimed they didn't take reservations, despite my checking mine multiple times. He wouldn't check me in. I asked for directions to the nearest emergency room and said I thought I was having a panic attack. I pleaded for 15 minutes to sit and catch my breath. He threatened to call the police. When I realized it was a heart attack and asked him to call an ambulance, he said he'd only call the police. I made my way to a hospital, and it was indeed a heart attack. The employee was rude, disrespectful, and racist. Staff seem poorly trained for medical emergencies. Don't stay here if you have medical conditions, they won't care.

The place sucked. Rooms were dirty, beds worn out, breakfast was horrible, and there were bugs in the room and bathroom. The hallways smelled like weed, and people upstairs were loud all night. A short guy in a hat with a bunch of keys kept hanging around outside all night, acting creepy and trying to sell people drugs.

I'm a regular at Super 8 and go there whenever I'm going through hard times. The main guy knows me by name, and it's usually good vibes. This night, though, there were cops everywhere and a different man behind the desk, sitting low down in a loud place. He asked whether I'd be reloading it on a credit card, but I couldn't make out the question and asked him to repeat it. He started yelling and throwing his hands up. I told him there was no need to yell at me, and he said he was refusing me service. No, sir, you won't get away with this. You'll get a bad review, and I'll call your boss in the morning. It was very unprofessional and felt belligerent. I felt uncomfortable, like he was undressing me with his eyes, and when I declined, he lashed out. This wasn't my first run-in with him. He's pervert-ish, and I won't be back.
