Surfcomber On The Ocean

We had a beautiful view of the ocean from our room during our long weekend. It was just what the doctor ordered, with a private, relaxing feel. The rooms and grounds were extremely clean, and all the staff were friendly and very helpful. We loved having our own private beach and have already planned another trip.

I’ve been coming here every year since I was a kid, and the quiet, relaxed atmosphere is still a big part of the appeal. It’s right on the beach, with a heated pool, shuffleboard, and large, well-manicured grounds. The staff are friendly and willing to help with little things, whether you need extra coffee pods or even a wrench to tighten a bike seat. It makes a great family vacation tradition. You won’t be disappointed.

We brought our 22-month-old son and made some wonderful memories here. The rooms are simple, more a place to hang your hat, but everything was spotless. You’re just steps from the heated pool and beautiful beach, and the grounds are scenic and well maintained, with gorgeous flowers all around. Housekeeping did a great job resetting our room each morning, and the front desk staff were kind and accommodating. There are lots of good places to eat and attractions nearby. Such a charming hidden gem, and we’ll be back for many more summers.

The beds are called queen size, but they felt closer to full size. The rooms are plain, though they do the job. We really enjoyed the heated pool with our kids and being right by the beach. The staff were attentive, helpful, and friendly. I’d recommend it and hope to visit again.
