Surf and Sand Motel On Nantucket Sound

We’ve stayed here twice now, my husband and I, and have loved it both times. It’s close to the beach, the grounds are well kept, and there’s a heated pool. Our room was comfortable and very clean, and the staff were welcoming, friendly, and informative. We’d definitely come again.

The private beach was a highlight, with towels and loungers provided, plus a pool and lovely green grounds. Housekeeping came each day to refresh towels, which I appreciated since some hotels do that less now. Our room was spacious, updated, clean, and had a mini kitchen we didn’t end up using. The bed was comfortable, and the staff were lovely and helpful. On our first Cape Cod visit, this Yarmouth hotel was a great base for exploring. The area felt very safe. We stayed five nights in high season and thought the oceanfront room with a view was a fair rate. It’s a gem, and we’ll stay again next time.

We’ll be coming back every year. The rooms have been beautifully renovated, and it’s so peaceful there with the private beach. The staff are extremely nice and really go above and beyond.

The ocean was calm and clear, and the beach here has a quaint bluff that stood out from the rest of the strip. We wanted a relaxing beach stay without loud music and kids, and that’s what we got. Towels, chairs, and umbrellas are included. There’s also an outdoor pool. The water isn’t crystal blue, but it’s clean, with modern chairs and loungers. The beach lounges themselves were dated, and a few were broken. I mentioned it to Robert, and he said they planned to replace them with the newer ones used at the pool and around the property. Coffee, tea, and a large ice machine are available, though there’s no complimentary breakfast. The staff were great. A special thanks to our cleaning lady, who took it upon herself to hand-wash my wife’s memory foam pillow and pillowcase after she had a nosebleed the night before. Talking with Robert, one of the owners, I learned this is one of the few family-owned motels left in the area. That made me even happier we chose it. A gem in South Yarmouth, and I’ll be back when I’m on Cape Cod.
