Quality Inn Near City of Hope

The rooms were clean and felt like home, and the staff made sure my needs were taken care of from check-in through checkout. They went above and beyond to make the stay pleasant. I thought the location was amazing, and if I’m in the area again, I’ll choose this place over the other accommodations. A 10/10 stay for me.

The rooms are very nice, but it’s the people that make staying here worthwhile. The team is professional and personable, and their kindness feels genuine whether you’re worn out from traveling or not. I can’t recommend the place enough. You owe yourself a stay here. The beds are very comfortable, the AC is cold, and the rooms are cute and modern without any odd smells. Breakfast has a good selection, including fresh waffles and pastries, and the staff are kind and helpful. There’s a beautiful sunset view over the mountains, plus a great location for shopping and food. It costs about the same as the other nasty hotels nearby. I’d definitely stay again.

Check-in went smoothly, apart from them first trying to put us in a smoking room when we had booked non-smoking. The room itself was filthy, with stains on the sheets, blankets, lampshades, curtains, and walls. We found cigarette butts and dirty towels stuffed into the couch’s pull-out mattress. It also wasn’t fully equipped, and I had to ask twice for an iron because Michelle (red hair lady) gave awful customer service. The two young men at the desk were much more helpful and accommodating. When I asked if the room could be cleaned again, they agreed, but afterward the cigarette butts and dirty towels were still there. Michelle did nothing to fix it and said she’d checked the room herself and found nothing, even after I showed her photos. Stay away from this place and its bad attitude. I wish I could give it no stars.
