We visited in winter, and the price was very reasonable. The place is peaceful, the rooms spotless, and the design has real charm and good taste. Staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and being family-owned gave the stay a warm, welcoming feel. It's pet-friendly too. The location is convenient, and I'd highly recommend it.

The workers were wonderful, and we enjoyed the pool and cute outdoor spaces. It's a great location and affordable for the area, with more than you need. The same people own a restaurant across the street and gave us gift cards to use there. We really recommend staying here and hope to return soon.

The bed was very comfortable, the shower was great, and I slept well since there was little noise from outside or the neighbors. Check-in was easy and friendly, even late in the evening, and I felt calm as soon as I entered the room. The recent renovation seems to mix new fittings and furniture with older, homier pieces nicely. The slate floor gave it an almost 1950s Palm Springs feel. For the price, it's a great place to stay. I was there over Thanksgiving weekend.

We had a lovely winter escape at Daunt’s. Dylan gave us a great welcome, and the rooms are spacious and thoughtfully appointed. Everyone at the bar / restaurant across the street was super friendly, and their cocktail list is incredible. Looking forward to coming back in spring / summer to enjoy the pool and be near the beach.

We stayed at Daunt’s Albatross Motel for the first time this past weekend, and it was a charming beach motel that really delivered. Our ground-floor room had a cozy, home-away-from-home feel, with thoughtful touches like white robes and slippers, coffee and tea, makeup wipes, a makeup cloth, and even a sound machine. We didn't hear the neighbors or anyone upstairs. The staff were lovely, and the pool area was beautiful. Each spot had its own QR code for ordering food from their yummy restaurant, “the Bird,” across the street. They also gave us a $20 gift card for brunch and another for dinner when we arrived. The fire pits were lit every night, and coming back to that warm, cozy scent was wonderful. I was surprised to see it listed as a 2 star hotel here. It's a gem, 10/10, 5 stars. We especially loved that they welcome big dogs. Our 170lb Cane Corso fur baby loved it, and we'll definitely be back next summer. :)
