Motel 6 Monteagle TN

The managers and owners were very nice, and the maids were too. Our sheets and pillows were clean, the bathroom and sink were in good shape, and the A/C worked. The comforters, though, were lumpy and need replacing, and the side chairs were very dirty. Our room was only half finished, and there was no microwave for reheating my dinner leftovers. Once the remodeling is done, this should be a very nice place. Overall, it worked for an overnight stop.

For an inexpensive room, this place was perfectly fine. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, and there was a refrigerator and microwave. We had hot water and no noise problems. I liked the TV sleep timer and the extra-large sink vanity. Wi-Fi was available, though the signal wasn’t strong. It’s a decent option for a quick stop.

The couple running this place were considerate and very nice. They seemed to truly care, and I left impressed, even though there are still a few things to work out. My room had hardwood floors and a new fridge and microwave as part of the ongoing room renovation. Don’t expect luxuries. It’s a basic, clean motel room, which is all I need when the price is right. And it was.

Our dog came with us, and the laminate floor was ideal. We didn’t have to worry about carpet and the germs you can get at some places. The room had just been painted and had new bathroom fixtures, so it felt clean. Check-in was quick, and the owner was pleasant. We had a nice conversation.
