Soledad Motel 8

We had no issues and enjoyed our one-night stay. My daughter and I stayed on 7/15/25 in a clean, comfortable room with two beds, a small fridge, and a microwave. There isn't breakfast for guests, though there are other options close by, including a McDonald's.

For what we got, the price could have been a little lower, but we didn't have many options at the time. It was a middling stay overall. The "queen" bed felt very small, though at least it was firm. I also hadn't stayed in a motel room with actual keys for a long time.

The roads were quiet between midnight and 5 or 6 a.m., though the road noise was noticeable before then and the AC was loud. The front desk receptionist was helpful when I called for the Wi-Fi password, and they offer complimentary coffee at the desk. My room had a fridge and microwave, a good range of TV channels, and a basket with a full set of toiletries. The room and bathroom were clean. The beds are pretty good if you prefer a firmer feel, with a layer of memory foam.

I slept well and felt safe here. The staff were friendly, the room was clean, and there was hot water and good AC and heat. It's 21 minutes from pinnacles national park, and close to everything since it's a small town. I'd definitely recommend it.
