The worst part was the argument that started in the room above us at midnight and spilled into the parking lot outside our door. It ended with a gunshot, then police filled the lot for the next three hours. Thankfully, I don't think anyone was hurt, since I didn't see an ambulance. Our room was a nightmare too. We booked through our Wyndham membership and knew not to expect much from a $45 room, since we planned to ride our Harley around and see the sights. The sheets were clean and the bed adequate, but there was an unknown brown substance on the hair dryer, holes at the bottom of the bathroom door, and a leaking toilet that kept the floor wet. On day two, as we were leaving, I moved the nightstand to unplug my phone charger and found black mold. I must not have turned on the light when I plugged it in. The hotel must once have been beautiful. The indoor pool and large common area looked nice for gatherings, and the lobby was decorated well. I'd skip it and pay a few dollars more for a better room somewhere else.

The walls are thin, so you can hear people outside, and room service never came during our stay. Our towels weren't replaced, and I had to buy Lysol wipes to clean the room myself. Still, there was breakfast, plus a small gaming area, a gym, and a pool. I was pretty hard on the place at first, but for a $40 rate my expectations may have been too high. I'd come back, but I'd bring my own cleaning supplies, towels, sheets, and blankets. You can't beat the price. We had a ton of fun at the casino, 17 minutes away.

The front desk staff were genuinely nice, which was the one bright spot. Everything else was rough: there was mold on the walls and ceiling, stained towels, sticky furniture, exposed bathroom pipes, and old-looking pillows. I couldn't tell whether the brown comforter was clean. An indoor pool sits among the rooms, and the chlorine smell filled ours. There was also a really loud noise next door, though I don't know what caused it. The building badly needs renovation. I regretted staying, even at the low price, and don't think it should be open.

After driving for ten hours, I ended up crying because I had to stay here. The room smelled of musty mold and weed, and the sheets, towels, bathtub, and toilet were dirty. There was a bad ceiling leak, and a hole in the bathtub had a plastic cup shoved into it as a repair. Breakfast was limited to toast and cereal, with no fresh fruit. My husband bit into a rotten apple. This place has potential if they hire cleaners and remodel, but right now it was a very sorry hotel.
