We checked out just 30 minutes after arriving. The clerk did offer to move us, but by then the whole experience had left us disgusted. The room was filthy, with grime on the sink, hair and other stuff on the bathroom floor, a web in the shower, mold, and a strong marijuana smell. The bed felt like it might collapse. We were a family of four but had only two washcloths and two towels, so my husband went to the desk for two more of each. The clerk said they were out of towels and had only one extra. She seemed irritated and gave my husband a sour response. I've stayed in budget motels before and had reasonable expectations, but both the room and especially the service disappointed me. Save yourself the trouble and choose one of the many other hotels nearby.

I've stayed in plenty of motels across the US, from Motel 6 to Super 8’s, and I'm easy to please. Grubby rooms and worn decor don't bother me much when all I need is somewhere to sleep, and usually you get what you pay for. People can be unfair with one-star reviews when they expect luxury, but this place was the exception. I don't know how it currently has 4.2 stars. The room inexplicably reeked of body odor, and the woman at the front desk clearly didn't care about her job. It was so disgusting that I got a partial refund.

She was patient and really helpful while I spent several minutes sorting things out with my bank during a rough trip. We need more customer service like hers, thank you.

The room itself was nice, the air conditioning worked great, and I slept perfectly, even waking up chilly. But a Room Attendant banged on my door at 10am to ask if I was checking out or staying. Checkout is at 11am, so they should work that out after the deadline instead of harassing guests. After that altercation, I should've had my time extended. There was also a $50 deposit charged at check-in, never mentioned when I booked online. My card authorization is left in limbo until they decide to release it, and having to follow up days later is stressful, especially when I'm from out of town. They also insist on a sneaky $3.00 fee the booking app doesn't show. The amount is small, but the lack of transparency makes it hard to trust this business. Really, I feel like I should charge them a $50 deposit. There's no furniture at all in the lobby, which is lousy for anyone waiting for transportation. I was told the soda machine worked perfectly, but after I put in $1.50, all the choices were sold out except tooth-rotting Mountain Dew.
