Red Roof Inn Cincinnati Northeast - Blue Ash

The photos made this place look nothing like it actually was. Our room was filthy, with holes in the walls, a duct-taped chair, a broken mirror, stained sheets, and a ripped comforter. There was no heat in 10 degree weather. In the 15 minutes we were there, someone tried to get into our room, and we saw a young man break into another room, take a microwave, and run down the street with it. We were scared and disgusted, so we left and drove ten minutes to a clean hotel. We paid $132 after the cleaning fees and tax for a room listed at $70 a night, spent only minutes there, and got no refund. It was a nightmare. Don’t waste your money.

The front desk guy was professional, but that was the only professional part of the stay. My first room reeked of urine and had fecal smears in the bathtub. The second wasn't much better: it smelled of cigarettes, the beds had stains that looked like urine, and there was still a weaker urine smell. The shower curtain had mold, the bathroom smelled even worse, the fridge was broken, and the ice machine was disgusting. I can put up with a lot, but this wasn't worth 80 bucks or the hassle of arguing. Maybe I would've demanded my money back if I’d paid cash. I don't know. Can you even ask to see the room before paying? Go somewhere else and pay more.

Very poor experience. I was meant to stay, but both rooms they gave me were unclean, with things left around as they were, including drink cans. They also smelled strongly of smoke when I walked in. I kept going back and forth to the lobby, then was told there were no more rooms. Luckily, they canceled the booking. I wouldn’t recommend it. Try somewhere better.

The photos are misleading, and the room was run down. The sheets were dirty and had cigarette burns, the door looked as if it had been smashed in before, and its security lock didn't work properly. I could've taken 50 photos of that room. The hotel needs to renovate instead of pretending this is acceptable. I definitely stayed at this location, in room 138, under my wife's reservation.
