Rest Inn

I've been stuck here for personal reasons for three months and can't wait to leave. Management plays favorites, and people are treated differently. I've never had housekeeping, and my sheets have never been changed. I've waited days for towels and sometimes days or weeks for a mop and broom, while others get them the same day. They even charge for toilet paper. There are bugs, and I had a roach get into my car. It feels like the infestation is inside and out. People blast music and speed through the parking lot. The hotel is so cheap that they have residents work for them instead of paying for real workers. The list goes on. I CANNOT wait to leave.

Things had gone badly for me, and I saw they offered weekly and monthly rates. So far, it's been a great experience. My room is clean, problems get taken care of quickly, and I love Ashley, who handles my room service.

I met some residents I really like, but the property seems to get little attention outside the nicer rooms in the front building, which residents said go to people staying for business. I was in Montgomery for a new job. My first week was decent enough that I came back, but that second week put me off the place. They said I'd booked a smoking room, which I hadn't, and there wasn't a nonsmoking room available, so I accepted it. The mattress platform was cracked and the bed couldn't be slept in. The manager moved me to a room with broken windows, where someone had been robbed the day before. I came back thinking he had to be joking, but he seemed not to know anything. At least the bed in the third room was sleepable and the AC worked.

Our room was clean, and the staff were very nice. Spencer from maintenance went out of his way to help us, and that meant a lot. Thank you, Spencer.
