The room was rough, and nothing like the photos. My king, non-smoking room had no coffee pot or microwave. The toilet whistled when flushed, the mini fridge made a strange noise, and the air conditioner sounded like a plane taking off. The bed bounced like a trampoline, and the small pillows were badly lumpy. There were different unpleasant smells depending on where I stood. One lampshade was torn, the chair fabric was stained, and the chair legs looked chewed up.

For a quick road trip stop, I had what I needed: a small fridge with a freezer for cooler items, an ice machine to refill the cooler in the morning, a clean comfortable bed, and breakfast, though the choices were very limited. It's pet friendly too, with a $25 fee. A lot of places now refuse small dogs or charge $50 or more, so I appreciated that. The motel is older and shows it, but at this price it didn't get in the way of resting. I paid around $80 a night, compared with under $50 for this kind of place when I started crisscrossing the country about five years ago. I don't think it deserves all the hate. The woman at the front desk was friendly and accommodating. Other guests seemed fine and weren't loud, and I felt okay leaving my car by the road under the streetlight overnight. If you want a pristine, renovated room with all the extras, you'll need a higher price range. For a night's rest, this did the job.

I booked online for a king and a queen bed, but when I arrived they only had a king available. I've had issues here before, so I won't return. It's unacceptable when the room showed as available online.

My sister regretted staying the two days. At $79.00, this place costs too much for what it offers. The breakfast was poor and customer service wasn't good. There's a garage at the front entrance, the TV had just one channel, and the icebox was switched on but never got cold. Not a place to relax.
