Homewood Suites By Hilton Pittsburgh Airport Robinson Mall Area Pa

Breakfast was the big surprise here: there was a full taco bar, overnight oats, chia pudding, waffles, fresh fruit that actually tasted good, and baked goods without plastic wrapping. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they let us check in an hour and a half early, which we don't often get at a major hotel brand. The room and the one my friend had were spotless apart from the furniture, which was tired and stained. Some parts have been updated, including the huge TVs and newer bathroom vanities, but not all of it.

I was in town for meetings at FedEx and stayed one night. I should have checked out right away. The room smelled like sweat, apparently from the shower or curtain, and there were stains everywhere. Someone had written on the bathroom mirror with dry erase marker and it hadn't been cleaned off. There were dirty dishes left in the dishwasher from the previous guest, too. Service wasn't good. My coworker was even given a key to somebody else's room. I won't stay here or at a Homewood Suites again.

The breakfast was nearly gone when I came down during the posted hours, and the attendant said they were out of eggs. Hard to believe for a hotel serving breakfast daily. Our room felt old and dirty, and the couch had obvious stains under a cover. That doesn't solve the problem if you're trying to use the pull-out bed. The place was uncomfortable and poorly maintained for the price. I wouldn't come back or recommend it.

We had a clean room and enjoyed the breakfast choices the next morning. The front desk staff were kind, too. I'd recommend staying here, especially if you're with family and need more room or utility than a standard hotel room offers.
