The rooms were in terrible shape, and the cleaning was awful. On my first day, I found someone’s dirty underwear in the bathroom closet, so I changed rooms. The next room smelled like a dog, and every kitchen chair was covered in dog saliva. I moved again, only to find stains, possibly urine, on the bedspreads. I didn’t notice them until I pulled one back. I asked the front desk for clean blankets, but after moving my luggage twice without a luggage tote, I stayed put. Then the heater stopped working. I thought adjusting the thermostat would fix it, but I woke up freezing and shivering at 2 AM. When I called, they asked if I wanted to switch rooms, which would mean moving all my luggage again and getting up at 6 AM for work. Completely unacceptable. I’ll never stay here again.

This was easily the worst hotel I’ve stayed at. The online photos were misleading: the rooms were dated, with old, dirty carpet and worn, smelly furniture. When I arrived Friday night, the TVs throughout the hotel weren’t working. The bathroom light switch was broken and stayed that way for my entire visit. One front desk employee kept saying someone would fix it, but at checkout another employee said there was no maintenance person that weekend because they were renovating. The indoor pool had furniture stored in it, though I didn’t see any renovation work during my two days there. I would have given it zero stars if I could.

Room 319 was in rough shape, easily my worst hotel stay in a while. The shower faucet had to be held or wedged at just the right angle because it kept turning itself to scalding hot. There were stains everywhere, even on the shades, and some fixtures were missing. I won’t stay at this location again when I’m traveling through.

The hotel was under construction, but it didn’t interfere with my room. The workers were quiet and respectful. I’d definitely stay here again.
