Courtyard Fargo Moorhead

The group rate for the wedding was meant to be $144 a night, but I was charged $153 and $181, plus taxes. We were also put in the west corner by Door B, an exterior stairway exit with a heavy closing spring. Every time it shut, it slammed hard enough to shake the room in 115 or 117. Rooms 113 and 111 were less affected, but still noisy. The first night it kept slamming while workers and guests went out to smoke. I called the front desk, and they agreed those were the worst rooms. As a lifetime Titanium Elite member, ghosts think they would have moved us elsewhere, especially since the hotel wasn't busy. The place looked clean and well kept, but our stay was horrible because of the room location. Casey's is about seven minutes away if you need coffee. The Courtyard only has Starbucks, and it really sucks.

The staff were a huge help when several families in our group ran into reservation problems. They got everything sorted out. We also loved the great fruit infused water in the lobby. It was handy for driving back and forth to the hockey rink, and there's a Starbucks right by the parking lot.

The bathroom sink barely had any water pressure. I was also disappointed there was no coffee or continental breakfast. I've never stayed at a hotel or motel that didn't offer something like that. The rooms themselves were clean.

Emilia was a superstar behind the bar on Saturday night after 9. She was on her own and slammed, but handled it so well. Friday bartender Megan makes great martinis, too. Nick at the front desk went above and beyond. The rooms were clean, close to our mom's house, and we'd definitely stay again.
