Update: I have M.S. and a rare illness I was born with, and they knew about it. After remembering more of what I went through, I'm conducting and filing an A.D.A. case against this location. I understand I'm within my rights to do so over discrimination, unsafe situations I believe were deliberately arranged, harassment of me and my ESA animal, and accommodations that weren't properly planned and seemed to be for staff amusement. I never smoked anything indoors, and I'm not and never have been a prostitute, alcoholic, or drug addict, despite being accused of these things. People need to stop lying about me. If you want to avoid hostility, stay somewhere else.

The new rooms are beautiful and really cozy, and I feel at home here even though it's a hotel. For a cheap place to stay, this has been a real blessing, and the staff have been amazing. I've recommended it and will keep doing so. The pop machine definitely needs an upgrade, though.

New owners took over recently and have started remodeling. The place seems to be getting a huge facelift, so I'm excited to see what comes next. The woman at the front desk gave me an annoyed look when I tried making small talk. Maybe the staff could use an attitude adjustment or a customer service class.

The sauna was amazing, and Rayelle made homemade goulash for some of the guests at dinner. It was a sweet gesture, and you could tell it made people happy. She was also so kind, accommodating, and nice at the front desk, a real breath of fresh air. There's a different feel to a small business compared with a big chain, and I like that. I travel constantly and my company would pay for a hotel pretty much anywhere, but I booked this one because it looked cozy from the road. It wasn't the nicest hotel I've stayed in, but it was extremely comfortable. The one letdown was finding no breakfast or coffee the next day. I was starving, since the reviews had praised the breakfast. Still, people sleep in and things happen, so that's okay.
