The beds were reasonably comfortable, and the desk clerks were polite. That’s about all I can say for the place. It smelled strange and felt run-down and oppressive. We went through three rooms before the clerk found one that would open with a key card. Someone was screaming during an argument on the third floor, loud enough to hear clearly. The pool was closed for renovations and there was no free breakfast, even though both were advertised. Our room had no towels or wastebaskets. We asked twice for towels and they never came, so we had to dry off with the bathmat. The toilet was stained and made a weird wailing sound when flushed. Avoid it.

We stayed for a week while waiting for our apartment to be approved, and the place has gone from a great hotel to a dump. The manager was rude, flirted, and kept bothering us. He gave us a $200 discount for the week. My fiancée later told me he had said he wanted a sexual relationship with her and couldn’t let her leave, and that he had sexually harassed her. Don’t stay here. I’d give it zero stars if I could.

The room and amenities looked nothing like the website pictures, and the location didn’t feel safe. There was no security. I saw a girl taken out of the room next door in a body bag. The hallways smelled of urine and had stains, and there were large rats there too. One mattress hung out of an open window, and rats were using it as a bridge into rooms. Our room had mold, no working lights, no phone, no internet, no clean towels, and no maid service. The air conditioning didn’t work either. The elevator was broken, the pool was closed, and the bar and restaurant weren’t open. There was no breakfast or ice machine. It’s a no-smoking hotel, but the bedspread had burn holes in it.

The place was disgusting. They offered non-smoking rooms online, but apparently none were available.

Don’t stay here. If there’s no other option, sleep in your car. Super8 is across the street.
