Days Inn Morehead

We arrived 15 minutes before the 3 pm check-in and they wouldn't make even that small exception. The room was freezing overnight, with only a sheet and a flimsy, thin advertising cover on the bed. Never again. Sorry MSU.

This place is in such bad shape it ought to be bulldozed. Our room was falling apart, and there was even a picture left sitting on the floor. The bathtub faucet kept leaking and dripping all night, which was maddening. I can't call it good service to hand someone a room like that. We've stayed at plenty of hotels, and this was one of the worst. We just wanted to get out, so I didn't bother taking photos.

The worst part was finding a BED BUG. The room smelled strongly of smoke even though we'd booked nonsmoking, and the comforters had burn marks. One bed's sheets didn't fit properly, the room was nasty, and it was very loud outside. The air conditioner was so noisy that sleeping was hard. The lampshades were crooked, and one lamp had no bulb. I also had to wait for someone to come to the desk both to check in and to check out. Do NOT stay here!!!

That so-called breakfast was mostly packaged sugar donuts, oatmeal, bagged bread, coffee, and orange and apple juice. It's outdated and very limited. I'd give zero stars if I could, but one will have to do. I won't book here again.
