The only downside was a cigarette smell. Otherwise, the rooms were clean and cozy, and everyone on staff was wonderful. The manager went out of her way to help after my son accidentally locked us out of the bathroom. I stayed two nights and would book again. Parking was free and secure, and the price was good compared with nearby hotels. Breakfast matched the price: they put it in a paper bag, with bagels, cupcakes, fruit, yogurt, cereal, waffles, coffee, and orange or apple juice.

For work, I’d stay here every time. I travel around the country to military bases and don’t get per diem, so the money matters. This has been a good place for me, and the other front desk staff are wonderful. The night clerk was hard to deal with at first, but he’s great now. It’s the best value I found within 20 miles. Monday through Thursday rates are very affordable, though weekends cost more. The restaurant out front is like a better Denny’s. I wouldn’t bring my kids, and my partner would probably leave me if I did. If you need value in Moreno Valley and beyond, this place is it. Some people seem to expect Nordstrom quality at Temu prices; I appreciate the hotel for what it offers.

There wasn’t any working electricity in my room, so I had no lights, outlets, TV, microwave, or fridge. I was left in darkness. When I asked to switch rooms, the front desk said nothing could be done and handed me a flashlight. In the morning I saw how dirty the place was: a roach in the bathroom, peeling walls, dust everywhere, and a strong cigarette smell despite being on a non-smoking floor. Breakfast was also unpleasant. They counted out what you wanted, put it in a brown paper bag, and handed it over. Between the powerless room, filthy conditions, and rude service, this was one of my worst stays. Don’t stay here.

I had a nice stay and would come back. What I’d change is breakfast in a paper bag. I get that they may be trying to limit servings and avoid extra cleanup, but I’d rather have a proper breakfast setup, even if it cost a little more. The woman packing the bags looked miserable, like she wished she were doing something else. A different setup and task might make the experience better for her and for guests.

I stayed a full week because this was the cheapest place online, but I can see why it cost so little. They only give breakfast for the number of people on the room, packed in a paper bag. It felt like jail food: basic bagels, little muffins, juice, one cereal choice, and coffee you make yourself. You can’t ask for more. I asked for three days for the room to be cleaned, but they didn’t do it and said they’d clean it on checkout day. I needed tissues, fresh towels, and clean covers, but couldn’t get them. The room smelled stale, like there was mildew somewhere, and there were drug deals outside, no lie. I’d never go back, not even a one star rating. Shame, since it’s near some great places.
