Hilton Garden Inn Morgantown

We'd absolutely stay here again. After more than seven hours on the road, it was a great place to arrive: the property was lovely and clean, and everyone, especially Brandon and the front desk staff, was friendly and helpful. The rooms seemed recently updated and were well kept. Beds were firm, with plenty of pillows, and I liked having lots of charging ports that held plugs securely. The showers were excellent, hot, and had strong pressure. The pool was a nice temperature, though the hot tub could've been a few degrees warmer; the water cooled when we turned on the jets. We still enjoyed having it with the jets off. Breakfast was made to order, wasn't free, and was very good. Courtney gave excellent service. There was also plenty of food and shopping nearby.

The team at the front desk, Brandon, Georgia, and Katherine, were incredibly kind and helpful. A clean, comfortable room matters, but the staff's warmth made the real difference for us. The location is handy for food, and it's a short drive to other parts of town. Highly recommend.

The breakfast wasn't really hot, despite the chafing dishes each reading 165 degrees. All three hot items were cold, though the toast and muffin were good. We won't be back. Our requested accessible room wasn't available, so we ended up on the fourth floor, about two-thirds of the way down the hall. The drapes were too long and lay on the floor. The parking lot was being replaced, which meant carrying our bags across the street. The hotel also wasn't as close to the interstate as we expected.

The suite was genuinely a suite, and having two bathrooms made things much easier. The rooms were great, but the mattresses were awful, incredibly hard to sit on and even worse to sleep on. I would've had an easier time on the floor.
