The Tropics is right next door, which is a real plus. Staff were accommodating, the hotel was very clean, and every room has a balcony. Breakfast was excellent, although it costs $5 per person.

Outside, the nearby highway is easy to hear. Indoors, the noise is mostly masked. The rooms are spotless and nicely equipped, the breakfast is decent, and the staff are fantastic.

The Tropics next door serves delicious food, and the service there is excellent. Here, check-in and checkout are quick, and the spacious rooms are always fresh and clean. We come back when traveling in spring, summer, and fall. Breakfast costs $5 and has plenty to choose from, including eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, pancakes, fruit, muffins, sweet rolls, and assorted juices. No complaints.

We were surprised by how quiet the room was, and the bed was very comfortable. The room was very large and had a balcony. Staff were kind and efficient, and check-in and checkout went smoothly. The accessible shower didn't keep water from spreading across the bathroom floor. The buffet breakfast has a small fee, but was well worth it, with waffles and pancakes, breakfast potatoes, bacon, scrambled eggs, cereals, pastries, yogurt, and fruit. Convenient restaurants are also within walking distance.
