Super 8 By Wyndham Moriarty

I love stopping here to relax whenever I'm heading down I-40. The rooms have an old-school feel that I really like, and the sunsets make the place feel like a safe Southwestern haven. It's a nice little motel. I'd recommend it if a bit of cigarette smell doesn't bother you. If a small amount does, that's on you, not this cool spot.

The free breakfast was simple but exactly what I needed before getting back on the road, and check-in was easy thanks to the welcoming front desk staff. My room at the Super 8 in Moriarty, NM, was spotless, with a very comfortable bed. The hot shower and free Wi-Fi both worked perfectly. It's right off I-40, quiet, well-maintained, and felt safe. You can tell the owners care about the property and their guests. I'd happily recommend this Super 8 if you're passing through Moriarty or staying for a few days.

Janet was the real gem. She seems to handle all sorts of jobs, from the front desk to cleaning, and was such a sweet, polite person. We had planned to stay one night but ended up staying two because of a tire issue. The place was clean, parking was easy, breakfast was available, and there were things within walking distance in case you ran into trouble while traveling. I really appreciated the hospitality and would definitely stay again.

The room was nice, and the king-size bed was as advertised. Thanks for noting my late arrival, since the trip took longer than I expected. My only complaint was that the pet fee wasn't included in the itemized bill. It looked like a discrepancy, so I had to go to the desk to get an explanation.
