I was only passing through and stopped to rest for the night, but this was the worst place I’ve ever stayed. There were bugs everywhere, plus a lot of black mold across the bathroom walls and blood in the bathrooms. Stay away!

With temperatures at 14°F and 12 inches of snow making local travel dangerous, management put a paraplegic guest out over a payment issue. The only clear road was the interstate, 10 miles from where we live. I called to offer to pay the balance over the phone, but staff said their “system” couldn’t process it and refused. Evicting someone into subfreezing weather like that shows a dangerous disregard for human life. This is appalling.

I called to book a ground-floor room for my disabled mother. When I explained what she needed, the man on the phone, who had a thick foreign accent, hung up on me. That’s discrimination.

We were traveling at Christmas and picked this place because the $60-a-night rate fit our budget. We got a pet-friendly room with one king bed. My husband asked for a clean room, but the bathroom was dirty: hair in the tub, a dirty toilet, and a dirty sink. The bed looked made, but after finding the bathroom that way, we stripped it and put on fresh sheets ourselves. They wouldn’t move us to another room, and the shower was so gross we didn’t use it. A man wandering around, who seemed like he was on drugs, knocked on our door looking for someone. We barely slept. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
