Extended Stay America Select Suites Raleigh RDU Airport

I’ve been here for over a month, and my experience has been helpful and homey. I work nights and sleep during the day, and I feel the hotel’s safety is awesome. The police department does rounds at least three times per night and once during the day. The GM Mrs.Angela has always been professional and polite with me. I’ve read other reviews, and I’d say no hotel or apartment complex is completely bug free when some guests aren’t as clean as others. When I’ve had an issue, polite and efficient Maintaince has taken care of it.

The staff understood, and they refunded us when they had no other rooms available. We’d booked based on the high Hotels.com score, but I don’t think I can recommend the place in its current state. The first room had questionable stains on the floor and a couple of roaches. Worse, a smell gave us headaches, and we couldn’t stay there for more than an hour. The second room, on a higher floor, smelled strongly of cigarette smoke.

I suddenly lost my home and had unexpected circumstances to deal with. The staff have gone above and beyond to make my stay as good as possible. Imara has been especially helpful, comforting and personable, and helped put me at ease during this devastating time.

I mean every word: if you care about your health, your life, your skin and your belongings, you should not stay here. We left early, and now our puppy and I are being treated for bug bites. The dead roaches on the walls and live ones crawling around are bad enough. In such a nice area, the front desk staff act like they’re still in the hood. I’ve been trying to reach the DM because the GM doesn’t seem interested in what she already knows is going on at this trap business. Mr. Chris, stop hiding. We’re now being treated for bites, and I’m furious enough to go to any lengths to get this corrected. So the dated pictures and videos of my room are made up? Lol, okay, I’ll gladly post those next. Stop the lies and find a new job, because you clearly are the problem. Pictures coming next. You got the right one. Calling and harassing my job is another no no!!
