This little inn is quiet and so cute, and the location is perfect, with lovely views and almost everything within walking distance. Our room had a fireplace, marble flooring, and window shutters. The bathroom had a deep tub plus a separate shower with a waterfall option and a bench. There was a rocking chair and small table outside the room, too. The staff were very friendly, and check-in and check-out were easy. We had a great time and will definitely stay again.

It’s a nice, safe hotel, and you can walk to the docks and see the sea otters :). The room was clean and pleasant, but there wasn’t a desk or table, so even eating meant using the beds. Shower pressure was weak, too. They still advertise breakfast, but when we asked, they said it was “too expensive” to offer.

The Beach Bungalow has me booking my next few vacations already. I first chose it for the breakfast, but the room’s beauty, the location, and the feeling of belonging made this one of THE BEST stays I’ve had. I’m not gonna lie, moving here is starting to sound possible 😆 Morro Bay has a visible connection between its community and the surrounding environment, and The Beach Bungalow honors that in such a serene way. The rooms are named for important parts of the bay. Amy, the warm and hospitable manager, is happy to share some of the history. Getting out of the city and away from the noise here let all my stress melt away. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Amy, for an unforgettable experience. Until we meet again! ☮️💜✌️

Really friendly service, and the little rooms are cute and clean. The bed was very comfortable, and shops and restaurants are within walking distance. I’ll stay here again.

The family suite worked perfectly for us, with two bedrooms and adjoining bathrooms so everyone had some space while staying connected. It was quiet and clean, and only two blocks from the water, making it easy to enjoy Morro Bay. Late check-in was simple and stress-free, and free parking on site was a nice bonus. We also appreciated the complimentary breakfast. We’d definitely come back.
