Coastal Breeze Inn

Rashid, the manager, went above and beyond, and the staff were kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. The room was beautiful and very clean, with everything I needed, and it’s clear the place is well cared for. Coastal Breeze Inn is close to everything but still peaceful and relaxing. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely return. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Morro Bay.

I stayed for 7 days starting Sunday, and during the Monday-to-Friday workweek my trash was never taken out and I wasn’t given fresh towels. The bed was hard as a rock. On top of that, the neighbors were loud, screaming and fighting at all hours of the night. If you want a comfortable bed and a room cleaned every other day, choose somewhere else.

It’s a simple motel, just as expected, and the rooms were in good order, clean, and larger than the other ones I’ve tried in town. The hosts were very gracious and helped us check in quite late.

The front desk worker was nice, and the location was good. The room was technically clean, but it felt flimsy, and the shower was tiny. Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were sitting on the floor, which seemed odd. There was a really bad synthetic chemical smell when we arrived. It seemed like some sealant or other material had recently been applied to the shower, and that was probably where the smell came from. Without that odor, this might have been a 2-star hotel, but they shouldn’t use the room until the smell is gone.
