It’s a pleasant, quiet and safe resort, with a beach, pier, and usually some kind of evening event at the clubhouse. The staff are friendly, and there are plenty of cottages and campers to rent. Our RV spot was very tight, with neighbors right beside us. We stayed for a month and enjoyed it, but after two months in Port Aransas, Tx, the price felt steep. We paid $1600 for the month, which will keep us from coming back.

Getting in and out with our RV was easy since the entrance is at a traffic light. The campground was clean, quiet, and conveniently placed. We thought there was a private swimming beach, but it turned out the water access was for kayaking and paddleboarding. That was probably our misunderstanding. They do have a pool, which made up for the missing beach, and we’d be happy to camp here again.

I’ve stayed in two of the cabins, and both were really clean and nicely decorated. The staff are great and put on things for guests, including dinners and yoga. It’s a hidden gem with a lovely atmosphere and great vibes. I’m definitely coming back.

We pitched a tent on the resort’s well-kept grounds, and the staff were helpful. The kids especially loved the cute glow pool party. The pool was heated, and the shower houses were clean. Stores, restaurants, and the beach are all easy to reach from here. We had a wonderful, relaxing camping trip by the beach and highly recommend it.

We rented a clean, cozy cottage for our second Valentine’s Day stay. The potluck that day had live music and real love stories, and even this old tough guy got teary. The smiles and friendly greetings from staff and other guests tell you a lot about the place as soon as you arrive. I’ll find my way back soon, and I’m sure the next visit will be our most memorable yet.
