We had a lovely late afternoon at Grassy Bar Oyster Company, picking up freshly shucked oysters and eating them on the patio. Before heading out to explore downtown, we stopped by The Estero for the complimentary happy hour. Sara was such a welcoming hostess, and the champagne and conversation were a nice start to the evening. Our room at the 456 made the stay even better. It was roomy, comfortable, nicely equipped, and had a great view. The fireplace was a cozy extra. We also loved being across the street from the ocean and close enough to walk to the shops and restaurants.

We were at the quiet end of the embarcadero, so we slept well. The room was nicely furnished, the bed was comfortable, and the products were good. Covered parking came in handy during the rain, and they set up a bed for our dog. We stayed three nights and had an excellent visit. Awesome hotel all around!

We had a lovely lunch at Dorn’s Breakers, then enjoyed walking back along the Embarcadero. The hotel has just been renovated, and the rooms are really nice. Everything is an easy walk from there.

We really enjoyed the hot tub after a full day of exploring, and the beds were so comfortable. The bathroom was a bit small, with hardly any counter space, but that was minor. The hotel is in a great spot for shops and restaurants and has beautiful bay views. We had a great weekend in Morro Bay and would definitely stay here again.

Booking was easy, and the service was great from beginning to end. The care and quality at this inn felt special and made the stay relaxed and enjoyable. Our room was gorgeous, with a full water view and balcony, and we got it for an affordable price. The fireplace was nice, though we didn't need it in summer. Highly recommend!
