Quality Inn & Suites Morrow Atlanta South

The whole booking was inconvenient, and for a two-star hotel I'd rather pay more for better service. I'll go back to booking Marriott. I reserved the already-paid room for my traveling mother, but forgot to put her name on it. I called to update the reservation and got the runaround. They said I couldn't add her name, and I couldn't cancel and rebook either. When she arrived, she had to speak with management and go through a long, unnecessary check-in. Customer service wasn't especially pleasant or helpful.

The room was only fair, and I wouldn't stay again. The carpet was worn, there were no Kleenex tissues, and the clock radio didn't work. The TV showed “No signal.” I called the front desk and they told me to unplug it and plug it back in. That's not a huge problem by itself, but their response made it seem like this happens a lot. Why make guests do tech support instead of fixing it? The rooms have outside entrances, and there were lots of shady people hanging around.

The smoking room I stayed in was nicer than most of the regular rooms I've seen along that hotel strip. My stay at Quality Inn & Suites Morrow Atlanta South was great, and I recommend it for comfortable accommodations and friendly service. Tara at the front desk was especially kind and wonderful with my dog Dexter. She was beautiful and smelled amazing, too.

The rooms were grimy and dirty, and looked nothing like the pictures. This doesn't represent Choice Hotels, and I'll never stay here again. Don't book it or let the fake reviews fool you. At 9:30 there was no breakfast out, even though the people working there were eating. I waited at the counter for 30 minutes to check in because nobody was at the desk.
