The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the bed and small pillows were comfortable. The shower was dirty and stained, though, so it wasn’t the cleanest stay. Still, it wasn’t the worst, and for what we paid, it was okay value. You get what you pay for, I guess.

We could hear people in the room above us, but it was otherwise pretty quiet. The room was dated and not spotless, possibly because it was a pet room, but they accommodated us and our dog when we urgently needed somewhere to stay and every hotel was full. The attendant helped us right away, and the service was top notch. There was a small pool and a simple continental breakfast. The water was very hot, though the pressure was low. They were full soon after we arrived, and we’d stay here again.

There’s no elevator, so if stairs are an issue, ask for a first-floor room at this two-story hotel. I’d discount the other review’s claim about a broken elevator, since there isn’t one here in the first place, and it’s possible that reviewer hadn’t visited. The pool was pristine, and the rooms were spotless and immaculately maintained. The atmosphere was peaceful, and several restaurants are within walking distance, including Cracker Barrel right next door. Everyone spoke English clearly and fluently. I highly recommend the hotel.

The rooms are modern and very clean, and the service is excellent. They’re very accommodating and will do what they feel is needed to make your stay work. Five stars for sure.
