Quality Inn Morton at I-74

The shower still had hair in it, and its dispenser was cracked off with chunky soap inside. The sheets were stained, the bed was half-assed made, and those couch-sized pillows weren't comfortable. There was also a slightly off smell that clung to my clothes. Staff were friendly at check-in, but they went into my room while I was at work to fix the TV, which felt like an invasion of privacy. Over the weekend, I was in town for school and was charged a $40 fee. When I called, they said a pillow was missing. I should've asked for a refund before settling in, but I didn't find bed bugs, so I put up with it. You get what you pay for here. I'll be filing a report about the item they forgot to leave in the room.

After a horrible stay at another hotel last weekend, my family and I finally felt comfortable and safe at the Quality Inn. The front desk staff were understanding and helped us feel at ease as soon as we arrived. The warm welcome and clean, comfortable surroundings turned a stressful, miserable day into a chance to relax. I'd definitely recommend the Quality Inn if you're in the Morton area.

The waffle maker worked, at least, though breakfast wasn't great. For around $65, I wasn't expecting much, and they did exceed my low expectations. The shower grout had mildew, and the caulking looked unprofessional everywhere. The sink seemed to be held to the counter with caulk, and the hall door sat so crooked in its frame that I could see light through it. The pillows were half size, and the AC was hard to set to a comfortable temperature.

I booked a room online through Hotwire, but the man at the desk got upset and kept insisting he had the right to refuse the booking. He said he would honor it this time only, and that he was educating me and speaking plain English. I didn't know what I was supposed to be educated about; I'd simply booked a room online. I put up with the nonsense so I could check in, but I'll never return. The rooms are gross too. Read the other reviews.
