I paid $200 for a room with no working TV, no usable outlet by the bed, a lamp that kept cutting on and off, and a toilet seat I had to clean myself. It had dried blood and urine on it. I was astonished that Chris wouldn't offer even a discount. The front desk woman admitted she'd had an attitude the night before and acknowledged the TV and outlet problems, but Chris, the manager, said there'd be no refund because I'd stayed. She said I should have asked for another room. I explained that I'd been afraid to wake the woman again after how rude and angry she'd been when I rang the bell to check in around 10:20 pm. She'd come barreling out of the room she was staying in and wasn't pleasant. About an hour after getting settled, I tried the TV, then tried charging my phone at the only outlet by the bed. It wouldn't hold either the charger or the lamp plug, so the lamp kept falling in and out. I stayed anyway, in part because I was scared to ask for another room. The hotel is in the town where I grew up, and I sometimes stay there to visit my parents. It's the only hotel for 40 miles, so I guess they figure they can treat guests however they want. Very disappointing.

We slept with the window open, and it was quiet. Breakfast was warm and good, and I'd recommend the place for a Rainier visit, especially if all the closer spots are sold out. We stayed one night. The room was almost above the office and breakfast room, and had a bit of an odor whenever we came in, though it faded after a minute.

The shower had hot water and good pressure, and the room and washroom were very clean. Staff were super friendly, breakfast was decent, and everything was great for our one-night stay. No complaints!

A good overnight stop for day hikes around Rainier National Park. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean, with a microwave and mini fridge. Breakfast was included, and the value was better than chain hotels at a similar price.

A pleasant surprise. The breakfast was just what we wanted, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Service was friendly and helpful.
