Monarch Motel

The desk person was very nice, and the hotel was clean, though dated. It’s a very small place with few amenities, but the price reflects that, and price wins for me. The room was okay, really just somewhere to sleep. The shower pan was cracked. Getting into the parking lot can be tricky, and I wouldn’t recommend it for bigger rigs. If I needed a place in Moscow, ID again, I’d stay here.

Plenty of parking and a convenient downtown location. The hosts were great too. It may be a little motel, but don’t let the word throw you off. The rooms are excellent, modern, and cozy.

It was easy to check in and out, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room felt comfortable and was very clean. I appreciated the provided noise maker, and liked being able to step outside and walk around town.

Everything was very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised by how nice the room was. It’s right downtown, so we walked everywhere. The bathroom was very large, with two sinks and a big floor-to-ceiling tiled shower. The in-room coffee came from a local coffee roaster. We brought our baby, and they had already set up a pack and play for us, plus two extra pillows in the closet, which I always appreciate.
