Comfort Suites Moses Lake

The property is beautiful and the rooms are nice, but there were several problems. The shower had less water pressure than the sink, so it took me half an hour to wash and rinse. I also didn’t know until I asked that rooms, towels, and sheets are only cleaned or changed every three days. It would’ve been good to know beforehand, and I wouldn’t have put the towels on the floor. I got sick before noon after eating breakfast, so I’d skip it and walk to Starbucks for coffee. The hot tub had no bubbles or jets, just hot water. Both mornings, a large cleaning lady with cleaning spray in hand talked loudly and whinily to the person preparing breakfast. I didn’t need to hear about her rude date or that she’d dropped him. I guess she was asking the whole breakfast room, so honestly, if he had any sort of date with you, you should’ve kept him. Any one with a pulse.

The rooms are nice and clean, and the staff are pleasant. A couple of flies stayed in our room all weekend, and the bathroom had no exhaust fan. The beds and pillows are soft, but they go flat. On weekends breakfast runs until 10, but if food runs out 10-15 minutes early, they don’t refill it. If it’s served until 10, all the options should still be there then. I shouldn’t have to rush to get food I’ve paid for in the room rate.

The room was clean otherwise, and it was spacious in a quiet location. But my bed had little bits of something that looked like mud or insulation all over it. They swept off easily, though I couldn’t help wondering how they’d been missed.

The staff were wonderful, and the rooms and location were quiet. Everything was clean and comfortable, including the linens and towels. They even had warm cookies at check-in. I accidentally left my dog’s bed behind. The hotel called and left me a message about it. When I called back to say I couldn’t retrieve it, the staff member offered to take it to Moses Lake's animal shelter so it could be put to good use. I’m glad they let me know, and especially grateful they took the time to keep the bed out of the landfill. The pet form is totally reasonable, and the staff were very relaxed about my dog staying the night. Thanks, Comfort Suites Moses Lake. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area.
