El Rancho Motel

The managers are super nice, and the rooms are really pretty. They want guests to feel safe and relaxed, and if you need anything, they take care of it as quickly as they can.

We were told after-hours check-in wouldn’t be a problem, but then waited half an hour for someone to wake up and let us in. The light was out in front of the oddly recessed room, and a big pile of rolled carpet sat outside, giving it a very rapey vibe. I wouldn’t let my dog sleep in that nasty room. The bed was dirty and covered in cat hair, and the bathroom was disgusting, with rotting drywall and a dirty toilet. Walking in made me want to shower somewhere else. We left right away after getting a refund from a very rude employee.

The room was okay, but the bathroom was gross, the shower very dirty, and the fridge hadn’t been cleaned. I was worried about my belongings while I was at work because most of the people staying here were drug addicts. I paid for a kitchenette for a month, but a week in they tried to move me to a room without one because they’d overbooked. The owner at the front desk was rude and unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The rooms are large and quiet, with a Dollar Store directly across the street. It’s easy to get to both the highway and downtown. The staff were very friendly and even offered to mail my husband’s tablet back after he left it behind. Thanks so much! My only complaint was the weak Wi-Fi, which kept dropping.
