Hampton Inn Moss Point Pascagoula

The outside looked nice, and we usually enjoy Hampton Inns, but this stay didn’t impress us. The room had cracks, holes, and stains in several spots, including the comforter, floor, ceiling, and bathroom. The sink was clogged, too. For what we paid, the accommodations weren’t worth it.

The staff were great, but the room really needs an upgrade. There was hair in the shower, no hot water, and a whole closet door was missing. The mattress needs replacing, and housekeeping should be shown how to make the beds properly.

The breakfast setup was in rough shape too, with ceiling lights missing, patched walls, and very little food left out without restocking. When I raised our concerns with Mr. Patel, he didn’t seem concerned and never offered Hilton’s 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. My husband and I stayed at the Hampton Inn by Hilton in Moss Point/Pascagoula, MS (6730 Highway 63 N) from October 9-12, 2025. The front desk lady was kind when we arrived, but the room was unacceptable: dirty coffee cups, rusty lamps, filthy shades, stained walls and curtains, and a musty smell. The sheets had marks that looked like dried blood, and the bathroom wall was crumbling with patches. They’d put the coffee setup in the bathroom, which felt unsanitary. We were moved, but the next room still smelled musty and had frozen water bottles left in the fridge. The property doesn’t meet Hilton standards and needs a serious inspection or renovation. For the price, this was completely unacceptable. We won’t stay there again, and I plan to take this up with Hilton Corporate to seek a refund or compensation.

The hotel needs updating, and the carpets were beyond gross. There weren’t even vending machines by the ice machine. The beds were awful on my back, and I didn’t sleep a single night. The pillows were thin, and the comforter wasn’t even king-sized. This was our last stay at this Hampton Inn.
