Motel 6 Moss Point, MS

One bright spot was the blonde-haired lady at the FD. She was polite, kind, and hospitable, and would do well elsewhere. The hotel and rooms were abysmal. My shower couldn’t be activated because a part was missing, so I had to sit in the bath. The non-smoking room smelled like weed, and the windows were fixed shut. The parking at the back needs cameras. It didn’t feel safe.

There was no Wi-Fi or cable, and my bed had only a sheet plus a thin cover that felt about as thick as a dinner tablecloth, no blanket. At check-in, the front desk staff member was watching TV, seemed annoyed about getting up from the lobby seating, and had a bad attitude because my little dog barked. The whole town is starting to seem full of miserable, unhappy people.

We’ve stayed here several nights in a row, and it’s very clean and quiet with top-tier customer service. The gentleman/owner is super sweet and keeps everything organized. The cleaning ladies are nice, and never complain when we ask for fresh bedding or clean towels. The women working when the gentleman is off are nice too. Pets are welcome, with no security deposit. If I could give 10 stars, I’d select every one.

This motel is low-key, in a very quiet area, and I got a good night’s rest. The staff are amazing, and the rooms are clean. It’s convenient having a Waffle House right next door and a store across the street. The front lobby smells amazing too. I’ll definitely stay here again.
