Cocomo Inn and Suites

We had a large room with a king bed, plus the TV, refrigerator, and microwave we needed. The location was handy for the downtown area, Publix, Walmart, restaurants, and other businesses. We were evacuating because of Hurricane Milton and had called hotel after hotel with no luck. My husband found the Cocomo Inn & Suites, and the desk manager said they had a vacancy. They usually don’t hold rooms in advance, but she understood how stressed we were and agreed to save one for us. They usually serve walk-ins. Della and her family run the hotel for the owner, Mr. Patel, and Della was our hero. Her kindness really got us through a difficult situation. Thank you again, Della!

It costs a bit more, but for the price it’s nicer than some places.

After being locked out of my room for over an hour because the key card malfunctioned, I was pretty upset. I’d paid almost a month ahead since I’m moving to UK in November and staying at Cocomo in the meantime. The maintenance person went out of their way to help and handled it efficiently. Things could definitely be better, but after work that shower was outstanding.

We paid $93 for one night, just me and my little puppy. There weren’t any towels or toilet paper, and no cable. The people next door, Mexicans, partied all night with loud music and yelling. The woman at the front had huge ties, though, and was very nice.
