Cassandra was a huge help in making our event successful. We hosted a large off-site meeting, arranged rooms for everyone, and held a welcome reception at the hotel. The room-block process was smooth, and the reception came together beautifully, with excellent food and a varied appetizer selection. Guest rooms were spotless, and staff were courteous, responsive, and helpful throughout. Being close to the train station made getting there easy. I’d highly recommend the hotel to anyone staying in the area.

The location is very practical, and the staff were friendly. The premises are well kept, though the room furnishings are starting to look a little dated. I was disappointed that same-day dry cleaning has been suspended. It’s something I rely on and plan around when I travel for business with a light bag.

The extra charges on my card are still pending, and I have no idea what they’re for. I didn’t buy or do anything at the hotel beyond attending my reunion events and sleeping and showering. The room had already been paid for, yet the charges add up to more than $100. I was there for two nights, and the $75 fee for my documented emotional support dog felt like a scam. They said he wasn’t a “therapy dog,” even though a highly regarded doctor at UCH in Denver, one of the best hospitals in the United States, wrote my letter. This little dog has saved my life emotionally and behaved better than some of the children running through the halls. If the charge had been a deposit, followed by a room check and a refund, that would have been different. He did nothing wrong. There was no hotel laundry service, so guests were directed to the laundromat downstairs. I waited an hour and a half while the two women at the front desk went in and out, trying to work out the machines with a phone or card. They called the company, then gave up and suggested I use another laundromat, or let them do my laundry after the facility finished the hotel's own laundry. I agreed, but nobody came for it or contacted me again. They also said the laundromat was a separate business and not the hotel's fault. That’s a lame excuse. The hotel hired these people and should make sure the place works and that they can help guests. It was unusable, and staff didn’t know how to operate it. For what I paid, the stay wasn’t worth it.

The hotel was clean and in a quiet area, but the wedding block didn’t save me money. I found a cheaper rate by booking separately, and at $250 a night the room didn’t feel worth the cost. The bathroom had cracked walls, peeling wallpaper, and a scratched-up door that looked as if a dog had been shut in there. The lighting was very dim, and the shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the shower weren’t what I’d expect at that price. I barely interacted with staff. At check-in, I said I’d been assigned an ADA room and would gladly switch if someone else needed it. The front desk attendant was a bit rude, saying the hotel was nearly full and I had to stay in that room. I was fine with that, but the response could’ve been more courteous. It wasn’t the worst stay, just not the value or upkeep I expected for $250 a night.
