I slept well on the fourth floor and barely heard anyone, except one person leaving early in the morning. The hotel sits in the heart of Amish country, away from the traffic and congestion Berlin and Millersburg can get, and the nearby center with a few shops and a restaurant is about a five-minute walk. It’s a good base for Millersburg, Berlin, or Walnut Creek, then you can return to a quiet rural setting. There’s an indoor pool I didn’t use, and a small lobby shop for snacks and necessities, which is handy since there isn’t much nearby. My king room was spacious, very clean, and nicely decorated, with several USB charging ports. Staff were all wonderful, and I ate well in the dining room the next morning. Coffee, tea, water, and hot chocolate were available there in the evening too. This was my first Sleep Inn and my fourth Choice Hotel in the area, and all have been excellent choices. There’s a large event center next door, so when it’s busy it can fill the hotel and bring a lot of people, which might mean noisy evenings. Since this is an Amish community, be respectful of local customs and take extra care driving near horse buggies.

The managers really went out of their way to make us feel welcome and looked after. The hotel was lovely, our room was clean and up to date, and the pool was nice too.

The employees were very nice, and the rooms and rest of the property were clean. The location worked well, with a really good restaurant just a block away. We travel a lot, and this was easily the best hotel we’ve stayed at. Plenty of places include breakfast, but this one does more than most. Go, you won’t regret it.

The accessible shower worked well for me with a prosthetic, and a wheelchair could roll straight into it. It also had a handheld shower head, which I think everyone should have, and it’s especially useful for those of us who need a little extra help. Why don’t all showers have one? The accessible room itself was smaller than what we’re used to in the area. Service was excellent, breakfast was good and much like other places, and they put out great cookies in the evening. The location was okay, though not as nice as some other places we stay, but it’s a short drive to the things we like. There’s a small workout room and a pool.
