The location is convenient, with plenty of parking and restaurants and shops close by. Gavin and Rose at the front desk were helpful and tried to make sure our needs were met, which I appreciated. The main problem for us was room cleanliness. In the first room there was a large stain on the bedskirt, and staff said housekeeping would handle it. After a day, I raised it again and asked to move; they were happy to do that. But the second room had a sink that clogged and wasn't addressed, and we saw bugs in both rooms. More thorough cleaning would have made the stay much better.

The hotel is one of the older ones around, but it still looks great inside. Our room was excellent, everything was clean, and the place was nice and quiet. Leslie and her whole team keep things running well, and the staff are on the ball. Breakfast was delicious, especially those western omelets. We love it.

The breakfast had so many choices, almost better than a restaurant. We were also impressed by how clean the rooms and bedding were, since hotels often skimp on that these days. We came here scared after a storm left us without electricity, and the staff made everything feel okay. Couldn't ask for a better stay.

The room had a fantastic workspace, and the management actually knew the IT number, so I could connect my Fire Stick and gaming devices. The lobby looks a little dated, but not too badly. Once you're in the elevators there's a pleasant orange scent from the cleaning products. I've stayed at quite a few Hampton Inns, and what you get can be a gamble, but this location often goes beyond expectations.

I brought my dogs, and there were plenty of grassy spots for them, with cleanup stations nearby. The room was clean, comfortable, and fairly spacious, and service was good. There are loads of restaurants close by too. The whole stay impressed me.
