They gave us a ground-floor room at the very end, next to a door, which worked really well for our dog. The shower had soft water, unlike the other hotels we stayed at. There are restaurants nearby, a nice pool we didn’t use, and a laundry area. They’re among the few hotels with an EV charger, but unfortunately the Tesla charger wasn’t working. Between St Paul and Nashville, this Bestwestern was the best hotel we stayed in, and also the cheapest. The dog fee was only $25, while the others charged $35-50 plus a deposit. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good, especially the little sausages and real butter for waffles. The room and breakfast area were cozy and warmly decorated, and the room had individual soaps, lotion, shampoo, and conditioner, which most hotels no longer provide.

The shower had good pressure, though the showerhead settings couldn’t be changed. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, with several food options and convenience stores close by. All the outlets and lamps worked in room 205. The room doors are heavy and shut hard, so be ready for that.

We were here for a soccer tournament. Breakfast had a decent selection, and the front desk staff were friendly. The hotel could use some updates, though. The beds weren’t the most comfortable, and the shower pressure was low.

The employees were friendly, but the room was awful. There was hair in the bathtub, dirt on the restroom floor, and even feces on the floor and under the toilet seat. The sheets smelled musty, and turning on the heater brought a strong dog urine odor. The stay was extremely unpleasant.

I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels while doing travel work as a medic, and this one is easily among my top choices. The rooms are consistently clean, everyone is friendly, and they’re very accommodating. Sam especially has been great, always attentive and smiling. He deserves a raise!
