I loved the vibe, and the staff were really cool about celebrating cinco de mayo heritage, which I respect. The waterpark was massive. I went for my twins’ birthday and didn’t even get to see everything because it’s so big. We had fun, though I was exhausted by day three. The crowds were almost nonexistent, and the shops weren’t too far away. The Mexican food was absolutely delicious, and even the mac and cheese surprised me with how yummy it was, since that kind of food usually isn’t my thing. The ice cream parlor was so cool, and the arcade was neat being near the waterpark. I’d come back again!

The rooms were okay, parking worked well for us, and there was a nice area for toddlers. A couple of the fastest rides were closed without signs, so we had to walk up and down. On some rides I wasn’t allowed to wear goggles, but there were no clear signs saying goggles couldn’t be used to protect my eyes, so I had to walk up and down again. The hot tub was really just a warm tub. They could organize this place better.

Jason D made our day at Kalahari cabanas special and stress-free. He checked in at just the right times, kept things running smoothly, and made us feel like VIPs. He was friendly and professional, with a positive attitude, and seemed to care about making the experience memorable. His service really stood out, and he deserves recognition. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond. His attention to detail was unmatched, and he anticipated what we needed before we had to ask. I can confidently say he played a huge part in making the day so special. I recommend this service 10,000%, and if you’re lucky enough to have Jason D as your server, you’re guaranteed an amazing experience. He’s a true asset.

Double Cut was one of the best parts of our Easter weekend in 2026. Elena V was so kind, and the steaks, cheesecake, mushrooms, and mashed potatoes were all terrific. We also had a great time at the arcade with Sterling, and Christopher at the front desk handled adding gift card funds to our room account quickly and calmly. Hailielynn was warm and welcoming at check-in, while Rosemary at guest services answered all our questions with a smile, even with a long line behind us. Most of the room service was friendly and on point. The first night was a letdown, though: we asked for pillows, blankets, and a few washcloths, but got two pillows, sheets instead of blankets, and a full towel set. It took 2 hours and 14 minutes, arriving after 12:10 AM. After a long day, that was frustrating, and we would have collected the items ourselves if we'd known. We had a wonderful stay overall and appreciate the staff's excellent service. We hope to come back soon.
