Drury Plaza Hotel Mt. Vernon

That complimentary evening happy hour was a lovely bonus. The snacks and drinks were tasty, and it was a nice way to relax. Breakfast was complimentary too, with a good range of food and plenty that tasted great. My room was spotless and comfortable, and everyone I met on staff was warm and welcoming. I had a really enjoyable stay.

We booked two double rooms, and both smelled like pet urine. I’d seen a few glowing reviews, but I should’ve looked at all of them before booking. The hotel was horrible. We had to contact corporate to get a refund, and I’m still waiting for it.

The people here made our stay memorable. Everyone we passed had something kind to say, whether it was a good morning or a compliment on my workout leggings. I think Stephanie was at the front desk. The maintenance man greeted us, and the housekeeper mopping the 7th floor in front of the elevators wished us a good day. Breakfast staff were warm and genuine too. Violy, sorry if I’ve spelled that wrong, was so happy, friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic about her pancakes. She’s what people in hospitality should aspire to be. We had a quiet, clean, spacious room and a comfortable bed. The fitness center had a nice range of equipment as well. My husband and I had an excellent experience and would recommend the hotel.

There were lots of people around the lobby and pool, so the hotel seemed popular, but the staff at the front desk were still friendly and efficient. Our room was clean and everything was in good shape. The only thing we missed was nonalcoholic beer with the drink coupons. We had a very nice stay at this Drury Inn and would come back.
