Rodeway Inn Renfro Valley

This is an economy place to stay, reasonably priced for what you get. The room was nice for the price and came with basic essentials like shampoo, conditioner, and soap, along with a small refrigerator, small microwave, and coffee pot. It was clean, and the firm bed was very comfortable. The carpet was showing its age but was still clean, and the TV was maybe a 36 inch LCD. This location has never had a pool and, I guess, never will. Since the motel sits on a hill, snow or ice could make getting there a problem in winter.

We got there just before midnight, which usually makes me anxious, but someone was there to help me check in in less than a minute even though the main office was locked. I believe it was the owner. The room matched its description, was clean and safe, and seemed recently renovated. The hot water didn't last long, but it was enough to avoid any major issue. Easy to reach off 75. We'd stay here again.

We travel by car often for vacations and family visits, and usually choose a place just a few hours ahead, at night. This was probably one of the nicest places we've had the pleasure of staying. The mountain view was great, and everything was clean and comfortable. It was very quiet, so we got a good night's sleep. We've stopped in some really bad places before, where my gun was on the nightstand. The night manager was friendly and helpful, and we even walked to the local Pizza place at the bottom of the road. This will be our regular stop on this route. Road tip: pick up a hotel coupon book at the rest stops for a great rate too.

We were really pleased with our stay, and the owners are awesome. Everything else was great, and we'd definitely stay again. My one suggestion is about the water pressure. It wasn't good, and the shower head needs to be taken down and cleaned.
