It was 7:36 p.m. as I wrote this, after being on the road since 3:30 a.m. Coming to this beautiful hotel after such a long trip was a relief. My room was very clean, and the staff were amazing. There are lots of places within walking distance. I'm at the flapper bar and grill now, enjoying a great meal and live music. 10/10, I'd recommend this hotel in a very quaint little town.

The hot breakfast is delicious, the rooms are indulgent, and the location is perfect. Add the obsessive focus on guest service and an unbelievably affordable rate, and this is the best hotel I've stayed at. It rivals or beats similarly sized four-star hotels. When I'm in Mt. Vernon, this is the only place I stay. I just wish other cities I visit had hotels like it. Highly recommend.

I liked having coffee, lemonade, and tea available around the clock. Breakfast had plenty of choices, and the menu changed between the two days we were there. The staff were very friendly, and our room was clean and well equipped with a refrigerator, Keurig, and good linens. The town is cute, and we'll definitely return!

We found this lovely hotel by chance while riding through town on a motorcycle trip with four other people. We had no reservations, but were greeted with smiles as soon as we walked in. The front desk was friendly, the rooms were very nice, and there's a hot breakfast. It's right downtown, with restaurants and shops an easy walk away. What a gem. We'd definitely stay here again and recommend it.

Victoria, who I believe is the sales director, took great care of our group. I was there for a work event and used the Boardroom, which was very nice. I wondered if the location right off the main entrance would be noisy, but it wasn't an issue. The service was excellent, the room was quiet, and the bed was comfortable. It has old-school charm alongside modern amenities. I'm not sure when I'll be back in Mount Vernon, but if I am, this is the only place I'll stay.
