Andrew at the front desk and Amber, who helped with breakfast, were wonderful. They were kind and really tried to help. Even so, this stay left a bad impression, and we'll choose another hotel next time. After a stressful night under a tornado watch, we had a difficult morning. A human situation kept me in the bathroom about 20 minutes past checkout. I told the housekeeper I was on my way out and apologized, but we were still charged $54, almost half the room price. We've stayed at many hotels and never been told in this kind of situation that it was already in the system and nothing could be done. It was a strange policy. When we booked, we signed up for a promotional offer after being told it included late checkout. At checkout, Rose presented the complimentary late checkout as if they'd done us a favor, even though it was part of the promotion we'd already joined.

They were still handling renovations after a hot water tank flood, but the transition in operations was smooth. The staff were outstanding, and breakfast had everything you needed, even in the temporary room. A really nice small town hotel. I'll definitely stay again on future trips.

Check-in was done in just a couple of minutes, and getting to the hotel was easy. The outside and inside both look beautiful. Our room was very clean and had super-comfy pillows. The shower pressure could have been better, but it didn't spoil the stay. We'd definitely come back.

Our room wasn't ready when we arrived well before the 3 o'clock check-in, and we had a wedding at 4:30. The staff kindly moved us to another room so we had more time to get ready. It was spotless and comfortable, and the room was really affordable, better than I expected. Breakfast was included, which meant one less thing to worry about. It was the usual eggs, breakfast meats, breads and bagels, plus hot coffee, and it all tasted great. Everyone on staff was friendly, kind, and accommodating.

The room was spacious and very clean, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, with a range of choices. There's a pool, and although there's no hot tub, the water in the pool is very warm. The fitness room is decent for a hotel, with a bike, treadmill, elliptical, free weights, and a yoga ball.
