Royal Inn & Suites

The rooms were clean, and the beds felt firm but comfortable. They're remodeling now and making the place even better. It may look a little sketchy, but don't judge a book by its cover. My one complaint is the low showerhead. I'm average height, 5'7", and it came up to my forehead, so I had to bend down to shower. The water pressure was good, though.

I've been here a little over a week and will definitely stay again if I need to. I travel over the road most of the year for work, and while I usually stay in Airbnbs instead of hotels or motels, this place is extremely affordable, with really nice rooms and beds. The pillows may be the best I've ever had anywhere. Everything's clean and well kept, and the owner is awesome and treats customers right. His customer service is top notch. It's nicer than most places I've stayed, and nice enough that I could live here temporarily or even permanently.

We've stayed here many times over the past 30 years, but this visit was disappointing. The rooms have been remodeled and look nicer, yet we spent seven days with only lukewarm water for six of them. The internet was also down the whole stay.

The front desk staff and cleaning lady were super nice. We had a double room with one very soft bed and one fairly firm bed, probably the newer one. It was a quiet location and good value for the price, with no bugs. My only complaint is that the plumbing smells a bit funky, probably because it's an old building.
